• Zemfira to perform an exclusive show in Riga!

Concert agency Propeller Productions announces a long awaited event for the gourmets of music - a concert of Russia's brightest persona in the music business Zemfira on the 30th of March in Arena Riga.
The concert is being brought by Propeller Productons in conjuction with Mix FM.
Zemfira is in a most creative period at the moment and a hard one at that - she's been in and out of studios in London and Moscow working on her new album. The album is due to release already this year.
Nevertheless she's agreed to perform this one exclusive concert in the Baltics - the Arena Riga show.
This will be a special event. This will not be merely a promotional tour concert. Zemfira will showcase her all time most popular and beloved songs - a somewhat retrospective of Zemfira's creative biography before the new album is done.

Every concert of Zemfira is special and full of surprises. It is fairly possible that the public at the concert in Latvia would hear a first time performance of a song from the forthcoming album.
Zemfira has made it known that she wishes a contact as close as possible with public at the concert, so the Arena Riga hall will be set as a miniature amphitheater which will ensure an intimate atmosphere, excellent sound quality and an ideal view of the stage from any postion in the hall.
There will be seated as well as standing tickets sold. This is limited so there will onlyy be 2500 tickets sold.

The creative biography of Zemfira begins with the album Zemfira (1998) followed by Prosti menja moja ljubov (2000), 14 nedelj tishini (2002) and the latest studio record Vendetta (2005).
Although the latest Zemira's release is the concert album enititled Zemfira.Live (2006) which holds up most of the greatest hits.
Merely days ago a new Zemfira DVD has been released containing her music videos and concert clips.
Zemfira is a good example of how a truly great musician can gain popularity and chart postion not giving away to conjuncture, honestly sharing her pain and emotional experience, capturing the song of life directly on stage.
Zemifra - her lyrics and her music has become a quality signature sound of Russian music and is constantly in focus in media. In spite of the Russian press sticking to the title "scandal girl" Zemfira is an introvert persona and is very discreet in contact with media. She never talks of her private life though the Russian media tries to capture her every step - as from her friendship with the millionaire Roman Abramovich to her relationship with Russian film superstar Renata Litvinov.
