to start off already tomorrow - March the 16th - we have a special event for you down at club Essential... on the occasion of series of events called simply Groove Baltics! a very interesting guy is coming over to play the Essential Main Floor and they say he's a rocket! DJ Rakett of Estonia says this at his MySpace:
"I think the essence of techno has been best defined by Dan Sicko in his book "Techno Rebels — the Renegades of Electronic Funk". Techno is a feeling, a mindset for interpreting the progress of technology and it's effect on the human psyche. The most common misconception about techno is that it's “mindless thumping music”. The people who say that have never even heard quality techno music, not to speak of understanding it. Real techno is in fact one of the most innovative, diverse and “intelligent” music styles, which has played a key-role in the development of electronic music."
not bad for starters, eh? but the saga continues on an even hotter note! we have the pleasure of a second introduction of the massive Bristol's own Deepgroove playing Essential Main Floor on March the 30th! you gotta have it deep! gotta take it deep!
the DJ's DJ - as they say - the one and only British supermonster John Digweed is coming over on the 13th of April to break it down on the Essential Main Floor! imagine that!
then on the 18th of April... as you might already know... yes, it's Busta Rhymes! it's really true! he's coming! wait for him at Essential Main Floor! be there or be square!
then on the 5th of May there's two trance maniacs - Markus Shultz and Perry O'Neil - in one night on one Essential Main Floor!
MN2S brings a celebration of house back to Riga and a legendary name again - CJ Mackintosh is coming! wow! featuring also the ATFC! double wow! wow! that's the 11th of May there... on Essential Main Floor!
on the 20th of May Renaissance bring Dave Seaman to Essential Main Floor again!
and lastly London's star Shortee Blitz is playing Eseential R'n'B Room on 25th of May!
