Superstars of electronic dance music - The Chemical Brothers to perform a grand concert in Riga!
On July 7 this year Riga will experience a greatest in means of live electronic dance music shows in the Baltic region. The Olympic Skonto Hall will welcome the all time super successful and one of the most influential electronic music production units The Chemical Brothers on behalf of their tour celebrating the new We are the Night album.
This is special all the way for at least two more reasons - the gig in Riga is the only show the duo will do in the Baltic and Scandinavian region and one of just two of which they do in Eastern Europe. The first they will perform the day before at the Heineken festival in Poland which they will attend right after the legendary Roskilde festival in Denmark. -

ZEMFIRA - back in RIga!
Propeller Productions presents... one of Russia's brightest personalities in the rock arena - ZEMFIRA to perform another concert in Riga on February 22.
She will take to the stage at the Dream Factory (Sapņu Fabrika) as in contribution to her tour in devotion to the new album Spasibo.
"I change myself quick and there's no turning back." - Zemfira says regarding her new studio effort, "The album reflects everything of the way i am at this very moment. I've turned 30 and as a result of some of the flurry i've been having on the inside i've had a lot of revelation."Zemfira hase once again shocked the all the way experienced show business society of Russia. This time - with the method of the album release - doing so without the host of a leading record company although these have been overwhelming her with various propositions during the whole year long album production in London and Moscow. The album has been released by a publishing house in Moscow called Komersant;the first copies of the recording have also been as an addition to the fashion, music and sityle magazine Citizen K which featured a wide retrospective of Zemfira's life and art, an interview and a photo session.

Underworld celebrated in a pre-party!
on September 8 everyone's welcome to the only official pre-party of theUnderworld live show featuring Darren Price - the official live &support DJ of Underworld - on the Main Floor of club Essential.
Darren has performed in Riga a few times already and has always experienced a warm welcome. This is a special case though as his status in the band has changed - long-time DJ of the British electronic music legends has up until now been playing a warm-up set before the shows, and now he’s become a “full-time” member of the band joining Karl Hyde and Rick Smith on stage.
The pre-party is also twice as important to Underworld fans as on this particular day starting from 10:00 o’clock at club Essential box-office the sale of tickets to the Underworld concert will begin at a special first-day price - 10 LVL.
